When you select Units when creating a time or fixed fee entry, 1 unit may show as 1 minute, 6 minutes or 15 minutes.  You can switch between them according to your firm's needs by changing this in triConvey Settings.

Change units in triConvey Desktop App

1.    Select the gear icon on the top-right corner of the triConvey Home Dashboard.


2.    Select Time & Billing


3.    Under Billing Units select from 1 minute, 6 minutes, 15 minutes or Custom increments.


4.    Select Save.



Change units in a single matter in triConvey Desktop App

1.    Open a Matter and double-click Matter Info.


2.    Select the Billing tab.


3.    Use the Billing Units dropdown menu to select from 1 minute, 6 minutes, 15 minutes or Custom increments.



Change units in triConvey Companion Site Web App

1.    Select the gear icon from the bottom-left corner and then select Firm Settings.


2.    Select Time & Activities from the left panel.


3.    Under Billing Units choose from 1 minute, 6 minutes, 15 minutes or Custom increments.


4.    Select Save.



Change units in a single matter in the triConvey Companion Site Web App

1.    Open a Matter and select Edit Matter.


2.    Select Billing Fees and Rates from the Quick Links menu.


3.    Use the Billing Units Round To dropdown menu to select from 1 minute, 6 minutes, 15 minutes or Custom increments. 


4.    Select Save Matter.
