One of the most powerful features of triConvey is saving time and ensuring the accuracy of your documents by utilising the data entered on a matter and your standard letterhead and formatting options when required.
triConvey has an extensive library of precedents available for your use. However, you can also create one-off letters or documents in any matter whenever needed.
Whenever creating a document, make sure you use the triConvey Word ribbon to ensure the document is always saved to the appropriate matter.
Table of Contents
1. Open a Matter from the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Select New Document from the Matter Action Bar and select either Letter/Fax or Document.
Tip: The Letter/Fax option is created with your standard letterhead. The Document option creates a blank document without letterhead.
3. In the New letter window, select the relevant Letterhead and tick the addressee(s).
Tip: Your selections automate into the new letter.
4. Select Create Document.
5. The new letter opens in Word.
6. Expand the triConvey Toolbar to view or amend details on the matter. Any details amended here will be synced back to the matter file in triConvey.
7. Once you have completed writing the letter, select Save & Close from the triConvey ribbon. This ensures the letter will be saved back to the triConvey matter.
Handy Hint
You can also create a blank letter by opening a contact card and selecting Blank Letter on the contact action bar.
