Learn how to send a request to your client to add funds to their trust account. Trust deposit requests allow your client to make a deposit via credit card at their own convenience.

Getting Started
Ensure that your firm has set up Stripe credit card payments. Your client will make their trust deposit payment through a secure payment portal powered by Stripe.
Set up your deposit request email template
To give your clients peace of mind, we recommend that you customise the email that is sent out when you start making credit card deposit requests.
Tip: This email template applies to all matters.
1. Select the gear icon from the bottom-left corner of the triConvey Companion Site Web App.
2. Select Firm Settings.
3. Select Email Templates from the left menu and then select the Deposit Requests tab.
4. Make your desired changes to the Email Subject and Email Body, using the placeholder drop-down menus to insert dynamic information such as debtor name and amount requested.
5. Select Send a copy of the email to the user if you wish to do so.
6. Select Save.
Send a credit card deposit request
Once you have customised your deposit request email template, you are ready to initiate requests.
1. Open the relevant matter in the triConvey Companion Site Web App.
2. Select the Transactions tab and then select Credit Card Deposit Request.
3. Select the trust account to be used and enter the amount to request from the client.
Tip: You can also review the email that will be sent to the client and make changes to it if required.
4. Enter a reason in the Reason field to be displayed in the trust receipt and trust ledger.
5. Select Send Now.
