4.    In the Description field, enter Statutory Deposit.

5.    Select OK.

6.    In the Client field, choose the contact to whom you pay the Statutory Deposit funds (e.g. Law Society, LIV).

7.    Close the matter window.

8.    Log into the triConvey Companion Site web app.

9.    Select the gear icon from the bottom-left corner and select Firm Settings.

Using the Statutory Deposit matter

1.    To add payments, locate the Matter using the search bar in the triConvey Companion Site web app.

2.    Select the relevant trust account and enter them by selecting Trust Payment.

Tip:  The Deposit Funds button will be greyed out because this matter has been assigned as the Statutory Deposit Matter.

Any payment on this Matter will appear in the list of reconciled payments, just like any other matter.

Generating a Statutory Deposit report

To get a report of all payments or receipts to your Statutory Deposit, open the trust account in the Statutory Deposit matter and select Print.

The Statutory Deposit matter balance will also be shown in the Totals section of your Trial Balance Report.
