Create a QLD Purchase of Land matter
1. Select New Matter from the triConvey Home Dashboard.
2. Select State: QLD.
3. Select Matter Category: Conveyancing.
4. Select Matter Type: Purchase.
5. Click Next.
Complete Matter Details
1. Double-click Info and complete required details.
Tip: Not all details need to be entered immediately. However, it is best practice to enter as much information as possible to save yourself time when generating documents.
2. Double-click Buyer and complete required contact details.
Tip: To add an additional Buyer, right click on Buyer and select Add Buyer.
3. Complete contact details for Seller, Seller's Solicitor and Seller's Agent if available.
4. Double-click Property Details to enter the Address, Property Details, Contract Details and Tenancy Details.
5. Select the Title Particulars tab and enter the Title Reference details.
6. Double-click Conveyancing Details and enter the Price, Deposit Breakdown and Key Dates.
Tip: You can use the Date Calculator to calculate settlement date. If applicable, you can enter the Sunset Details.
7. Select the Safety & Special Conditions tab to enter any relevant special conditions.
8. Select the Stamp Duty, Tax & Registration tab to review the stamp duty information.
Stamp Duty will prepopulate based on the purchase price entered on the Contract & Settlement Details tab. Use this tab to add any concessions or exemptions and Transfer Registration Fees (if applicable).
9. To add uncommon contacts to your matter, select the gear icon from the top right corner of the Matter.
10. From Show/hide details for this matter, select the additional contact/s to be displayed in Matter Details.
Tip: You can add details such as Sellers Agent as well as the Agent's commission and fees under Agent's Details, Incoming Mortgagee, Settlement Agent, Council and Water Authority.
