In the Document section of a Matter, document folders can help you organise and store specific documents. You can even set default folders for different matter types so that new matters will already have the appropriate folders set up.

Create Document Folders for a new Matter Type
1. Select the gear icon from the top-right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Select Matter Configuration and then select Add New.
3. Select the Default Document Folders tab.
4. Click the select... link to select the Matter Type.
5. Select the State.
6. Select the Matter Type.
7. Click OK.
Add Document Folder
1. Click the Add a folder link.
2. Enter folder name.
3. Select Create.
4. Click Save.
Tip: Now when you create a New Matter within this matter type, the Default Folder will already be in the matter.
Add Document Folder to existing Matter Type
1. Select the gear icon from the top right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Select Matter Configuration and double-click on the Matter Type to edit.
3. Select the Default Document Folders tab.
4. Make sure the Matter Type is correctly listed. To change it, click the change... link and search for the matter type from the subsequent folders.
5. Click the Add a folder link and then Enter folder name.
6. Select Create.
7. Click Save.
Tip: Now when you create a New Matter within this matter type, the Default Folder will already be in the matter.
Add a sub-folder to a Document Folder
1. Right-click on the folder and select Add Folder.
2. Enter the sub-folder name.
3. Select Save.
