In this article, we provide solutions to issues that may occur when incorrect firm details, such as your firm's address, are displaying on documents.

Automating your Firm Details

Make sure you have updated your firm's information in triConvey Settings:

1.    Select the gear icon from the top right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.

2.    In Firm Details, update your firm contact information.

3.    Click Save.

4.    Firm details should now be automated correctly.

By default, whenever you make changes to any field in your Firm’s Details, these changes should follow through to documents.

If the details are still showing incorrectly, there are two reasons why:

  • the information was hard typed into the letterhead container; or
  • your firm’s letterhead is an image file.

Fixing hard-typed information on the letterhead

1.    Select the gear icon from the top right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.

2.    Select Document Containers.

3.    Right-click on the relevant letterhead and select Modify.

If the firm details were typed into the letterhead, it may look like the example below:

4.    Replace the hard-typed text with automation fields using the triConvey Toolbar.

5.    Place the cursor in front of the <<Body Content>> tag.

6.    Click Save & Close.

7.    The updated details should now appear when you create new letters and precedents.

Updating letterheads inserted as an image

1.    Make sure the new letterhead image(s) are stored on your computer.

2.    Select the gear icon from the top right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.

3.    Select Document Containers.

4.    Right-click on the relevant letterhead and select Modify.

4.    Double-click into the header and right-click on the image.

5.    Select Change Picture and then find and insert the new image.

6.    Make sure the images on the footer are also updated, if necessary.

7.    Place the cursor in front of the <<Body Content>> tag.

8.    Click Save & Close.

9.    The new letterhead image will now generate on precedents.
