You can set default Time & Fees for both staff members and matter types.

Getting Started
Changes to Matter Configuration settings only apply to new Matters.
Add default rates for staff members
1. Select the gear icon from the top right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Select Staff & Users.
3. Double-click on the relevant staff member’s name.
4. Select the Billing tab.
5. Enter the staff member's Hourly Rate.
6. Select Save.
Add default fees on a matter type
Set up default fee entries to appear when you open a matter. The feature is helpful to ensure you never forget to add charges to a matter.
Before you begin, ensure you have set up your standard time and fee activity codes.
To set up the default fees:
1. Select the gear icon from the top right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Select Matter Configurations and then select Add New.
3. Click the select... link.
4. Select the State and then select the relevant Matter Type.
5. Click OK.
6. Select the Time & Fees tab.
7. Tick the Automatically create fee entry checkbox and select Add.
8. Select the previously set up activity code from the drop-down menu.
Tip: The selected activity will pre-populate the empty fields.
9. Select Save.
Edit existing default fees on a matter type
1. Select the gear icon from the top right corner of the triConvey Desktop App.
2. Select Matter Configuration and double-click on the Matter Type to be edited.
Tip: Matter Types with default Time & Fees set, can be identified by a green tick in the Time & Fees column of Matter Configuration.
3. Select the Time & Fees tab.
4. Double-click on the Activity to be edited.
5. Make required changes and click Save.
