This release makes Archie more dependable when you’re drafting, working with attached files, and moving between chats.
New Features
Formatting that follows your instructions Archie now carries the formatting you ask for into Word documents, memos, and emails. That includes underline, superscript and subscript, centring, right alignment, and justification, alongside bold, italics, headings, lists, and tables. If Archie can’t apply something, it tells you.
Page-level requests, such as margins, headers and footers, page numbering, and orientation, come from your firm’s document template. Archie explains this when you ask for them.
Previously, some formatting could drop out when a draft moved into Word, a memo, or an email, and Archie sometimes said it had applied formatting when it hadn’t. Now you can see what was applied and what wasn’t.
More reliable answers on attached files Archie now searches an attached file before telling you something isn’t in it. This fixes cases where Archie said a figure was missing when the file contained it.
Attach files on any message in Archie Legal The paperclip and drag and drop now work on every message in a chat, not just the first. You can bring a new document into a follow-up question without starting a new chat. If you re-attach a file that’s already in the chat, Archie lets you know.
Bug Fixes
Chat
Reopening a chat from the matter Archie tab showed a blank new-chat screen instead of your conversation. It now shows the conversation.
Attaching a large PDF and asking a question caused the side panel to request the same preview repeatedly while Archie wrote its answer. The preview now loads once.
Attached images and PDFs were over-counted against the size of the conversation, so Archie summarised the chat earlier than needed and lost detail. Attachments are now counted correctly.
Email
Email drafts with several recipients on the To line lost the whole To list when sent to Outlook. The Cc and Bcc lines came through correctly. All To recipients now carry across.

Archie has been updated:
Drafts now keep their formatting in Word and Email. Tables keep their borders, column widths and alignment, and multi-section documents keep their page layout. Letters use the firm's Word template.
Placeholders in drafts are now highlighted and Archie will prompt you to fill in missing information.
Fixed a bug where Archie's chat contents were being included in a generated memo's body or title.
Fixed an issue where files with uppercase extensions (e.g. .PDF instead of .pdf) were being rejected as unsupported.
You can now clear a thumbs up/thumbs down reaction in Archie chat.
