Getting Started
You can save both individual documents and folders from your computer to triConvey, by simply using the Drag & Drop method, or utilising the Import function detailed below.
Tip: If you import or drag & drop folders with sub-folders, triConvey will maintain the folder structure.
triConvey Desktop App
1. Navigate to a matter and select Import in the Action bar.
2. Choose either Files or Folders.
3. Locate the files or folders from their computer location and click Open. You can select as many files or folders as you like at one time.
Tip: The documents or folders will appear in the bottom section of the matter file.
triConvey Companion Site Web App
1. Open the Matter file and select the Documents tab.
2. Select Upload Document to choose the files you wish to upload to the matter. You can upload multiple files at once by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and clicking on all the files.
Tip: When uploading a file with the same name as an existing file in that directory, you will be prompted with a message to Replace or Rename the file.
3. Replace will overwrite the file that is currently in the matter. You can still view this version by selecting the three dots in the rightmost column of the document, then selecting View Details.
4. Any overwritten versions will display under Version History, where you can download and upload new versions of the file.
Tip: For audit purposes, you cannot delete files from the Version History.
Editing a file
To make changes to a file:
1. Download the file from triConvey from the Download icon or by selecting the three dots icon and selecting Download.
2. Open the downloaded file and edit it. Save it with the same name the file has in triConvey.
3. Back in triConvey, Select Upload and select Replace when prompted to either replace or rename the file.
