Version 9.6 of the triConvey Desktop App contains the following refinements. Version 9.6 is currently undergoing beta testing.
Refinements
Ability to edit and delete Safe Custody documents and packets We have enhanced the Safe Custody functionality to make it more flexible to manage records for contacts.
You can now edit packet and document details, including External Reference, Contact assigned, Storage Location, and Notes.
You can also delete documents by right-clicking and selecting Delete.
All edits and deletions require users to specify the reason for the change, which can be tracked in the Change History.
An additional Firm Packet Reference and Firm Document Reference field has been added to the Safe Custody feature. These fields support alphanumeric input and are intended to be secondary reference fields alongside the current External Ref field.
If you would like to hide these new fields, you can do so in Safe Custody Settings.
Improvements to the Reports selection drop-down menu The Reports tab report selection drop-down menu has undergone a facelift.
You can now search for a report title with the search bar at the top of the drop-down menu.
Report titles are now displayed in alphabetical order.
Precedent automation fields for Branch Office data Information on multiple office locations entered in Firm Details will now automatically flow through to Precedent automation fields in Word.
If you have indicated a Branch Office in the Matter info section of a matter, the branch details will populate in all documents that are generated within that matter.
Improvements to the displaying of Matter Descriptions To make it easier to tell the difference between multiple matters with the same client, matter descriptions will now appear when listed in the following areas of triConvey:
'My Recently Viewed' widget
'Tagged Matters' widget
'Assigned Matters' widget
The Recently Viewed section on the bottom-left of the Matter List
The Save to triConvey matter selection window
Matters listed in time, fee disbursement entries within the Time & Disbursements tab
Notable bug fixes
Addressed an issue where users could set two branch offices as Primary.
Addressed a bug which prevented users from saving/closing documents that had been initially opened from OneDrive.
