Learn what to do if you encounter Error GE001 (General 001) in triConvey when trying to start up the Desktop App.
To resolve the issue:
1. Close triConvey by clicking File from the top left corner of the Home Dashboard and then selecting Exit.
2. Press Ctrl+shift+esc and select Expand.
3. Select the Services tab.
4. Right click on Smokeball-Windows-Service and select Restart.
5. Wait 5-10 minutes for the connection to reset.
6. Reopen triConvey.
If the above steps do not rectify the issue:
1. Restart your computer.
2. Press the Windows key on your computer, or open the Start Menu, and then search for Control Panel.
3. Select Programs and Features.
4. Right-click on the triConvey program and select Uninstall.
Tip: Ensure that the Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel programs are fully closed.
5. Reinstall triConvey by navigating to our Download page, and then selecting Download triConvey.
6. triConvey will download to your computer. Open the file and follow the prompts for installation.
7. Once the installation is complete, select Start.
