Version 9.4 includes a host of exciting upgrades to the triConvey Desktop App.
New Features
Bulk reassign work from former staff You can now bulk reassign tasks, events, workflows, matters and leads that have belonged to staff who are no longer with the firm.
After selecting Set Former Staff on a staff card, you will now be presented with a list of items to reassign to another staff member. You can also select Apply To All to reassign all work to a certain staff member, if applicable.
Once you confirm the reassignment, triConvey will work in the background to apply the changes. You can track progress by selecting the Uploads, Downloads & Exports icon on the top-right corner of the app.
Linking email attachments to the originating email We have made improvements to linking attachments back to the originating email. When right-clicking an attachment from the Files List, select Open originating email. You can also select the mail icon next to the attachment.
Email attachments will also appear in search results. This is only available for emails with attachments associated to a matter from Version 9.4 onwards.
Also, when attaching documents to an outbound email, you will now be prompted to attach the documents to the associated matter only after selecting Send in Outlook. Before, the prompt to save a document to a matter from an outbound email appeared when you attached a document to the email.
Refinements
Right-click to set task priority You can now set the priority of a task by right-clicking on it from the Tasks List.
Fix to triSearch Partial Refunds and Credit Notes When you receive a partial refund, credit note or both for a specific order, the expense entry will now be updated with the refund amount, instead of remaining as billable.
Note that the refund amount will not always be the same as the original amount due to refund fees charged by InfoTrack.
Notable bug fixes
Fixed a bug where a validation error border was appearing on the time worked field preventing it from saving.
Fixed a bug where hyperlinks were not clickable in memos.
Updated searching results to include foreign language characters.
Fixed a bug where there was a discrepancy between input and output tax values.
Fixed a bug where users were unable to save files to matters that have not been opened.
Fixed a bug with time zones where the date was set a day early for Settlement Dates.
