How to access Firm Settings
1. Open the triConvey Companion Site web app and select the gear icon from the bottom-left corner.
2. Select Firm Settings.
Edit Firm Details
The Firm Details tab allows you to edit basic information about your firm, which will be reflected in client-facing documents such as invoices.
Manage staff & user permissions
The Staff & Users tab allows Firm Owners to assign permissions to staff in regard to accessing Accounts and Reports in the Web App.
Set up activity codes
The Time & Activities tab allows you to add Fee, Time or Disbursement codes. Codes help you save time entering individual line items into invoices by pre-filling information.

Customise your invoices
The Invoice Settings tab allows you to amend the look and feel of the invoice you generate in triConvey.

Customise emails sent from triConvey
The Email Templates tab allows you to customise the message you send out in emails containing invoices, invoice reminders and evergreen retainer requests.
Confirm GST settings
The GST tab shows the GST rate applied to invoice items that contain GST. If your firm is registered for GST, make sure the Registered for GST box is ticked.
Ticking the Registered for GST box will change your invoice name from "Invoice" to "Tax Invoice".
Manage accounts
The Accounts tab allows you to configure settings for the various accounts you manage in triConvey. Main tasks you can do here include:
- Update trust account and controlled money account details
- Update operating account details
- Enable trust and office cheque printing
- Enable and configure an evergreen retainer
- Adjust the numbering of trust transactions and controlled money account transactions
Connect triConvey to Xero
To automatically send transactions entered into triConvey through to the general ledger in Xero, set up your Xero integration.
Connect triConvey to MYOB
To automatically send transactions entered into triConvey through to the general ledger in MYOB, set up your MYOB integration.
Set up Stripe card payments
Connect Stripe with triConvey to enable the option for your clients to pay invoices directly via credit or debit card.
